I grew up in a suburb just outside of Houston and attended Texas A&M University. After college, I stepped into the corporate world working in sales, but photography had always been part of my story long before that. In high school, my parents gave me my first “big girl” camera for Christmas - and I still have it to this day. I remember bringing that camera everywhere with me, photographing anything and everything simply because I loved it.
After marrying the love of my life and becoming a mom, something shifted in me. I always knew I wanted to be present for my children and the little moments that make up everyday life. Taking a leap of faith, I stepped away from corporate life and pursued photography full time in 2025.
Motherhood completely changed the way I see the world. It gave me a deeper understanding of how quickly time moves and how meaningful it is to document the seasons of life we’re living in right now. Kids aren’t perfect, families aren’t perfectly posed, and that’s the beauty of it.
When I photograph individuals, couples and families, I bring patience, warmth, and a genuine desire to get to know the people in front of my camera. Over time, many of my clients become friends, and that connection is what makes the photographs feel so meaningful.
For me, this is about more than showing up with a camera and delivering a gallery. I want you to feel taken care of from the moment you inquire to the moment your photos are in your hands. I value connection, communication, and creating an experience that feels easy, personal, and thoughtful every step of the way.
Not everyone steps in front of a camera feeling confident, and that’s okay. My approach is calm, patient, and laid back, so you never have to worry about being overly posed or performing for the camera. I’ll guide you when needed, but I also know when to step back and let real moments unfold naturally.
As a mom, I know children are not meant to be perfectly still, perfectly posed, or perfectly happy every second of a session. They are allowed to be themselves. I come into every session with patience, flexibility, and realistic expectations, because some of the most meaningful images come from the moments in between.
One of my favorite parts of this work is getting to know the people I photograph. Over time, many of my clients become friends, and I think that connection is a huge part of what makes the images feel so honest. When you feel comfortable and known, that always translates in your photos.
I’m not here to force moments that don’t feel like you. I want to capture your family as you are in this season - the laughter, the movement, the tenderness, the chaos, and all the little in-between moments that are easy to overlook now but will mean everything later.
Motherhood and family life have completely changed the way I see photography. I know how quickly life moves, how fast children grow, and how meaningful it is to preserve what this season actually feels like. My goal is always to create images that will only become more valuable as the years go on.
From planning to session day to gallery delivery, I want the process to feel simple and seamless. You do not need to come in with a perfect plan or perfect children or a perfect vision. You just have to show up as you are, and I’ll take care of the rest.
